Job Summary
Setup, operate, and breakdown merchandise stands during home games and special events. Process point-of-sale transactions, fulfill online orders, and handle inventory shipments including counting, tagging, and delivering products to sales locations. Support online store operations by managing customer inquiries and assist in researching new merchandise trends for product selection. Participate in retail marketing promotions for both in-arena and online channels, and attend scheduled team calls with management. This non-paid internship runs from August 2026 to May 2027, offering hands-on experience in sports retail management, inventory tracking, and ecommerce within the Jacksonville Icemen Hockey Team's professional environment.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Retail, Business, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
