Job Summary
Operate electric and manual pallet jacks to move product in and out of coolers, freezers, and production areas, staging and organizing materials to support daily plant flow. Perform daily equipment checks, report safety or maintenance concerns, and assist with repairs, installations, and parts replacement as assigned. Maintain clean, organized work areas while following all food safety, sanitation, and GMP protocols. Communicate effectively with production, maintenance, and supervisory teams to coordinate product movement and resolve issues. Work on-site in a fast-paced poultry production environment during the 1st shift, including overtime and weekends as required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to occasionally lift to 50 lbs
- Ability to learn and perform a variety of duties in a poultry production environment
- Available to work assigned shifts, including overtime and weekends, as required
- Ability to follow safety requirements, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), company policies, and departmental procedures
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
- New team members must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening post-offer and prior to the start of their employment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Verification of employment eligibility must be documented by the end of the third day of work
Desired Qualifications
- Related production, manufacturing, food processing, poultry processing, warehouse, or general labor experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
