Job Summary
Deliver exceptional guest experiences by performing one or more workstations while adhering to Jack in the Box procedures, systems, and standards. Take and clarify orders, enter them into the POS system, and ensure accurate assembly, packaging, and delivery of food with consistent quality and temperature. Maintain a clean restaurant environment by sweeping floors, wiping tables, sanitizing dishes, and managing interior and exterior cleaning duties. Follow all food safety policies, including hand washing, glove procedures, and proper storage of ingredients. Work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting requiring the ability to multitask, stand for most of the shift, and lift up to 25 lbs. Must be at least 16 years old and able to communicate clearly in English.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to read and understand written English
- Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to stand and walk approximately 90%-95% of shift
- Ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
- Ability to lift and carry 15-25 lbs
- Ability to listen to guests' orders
- Ability to operate a cash register
- Ability to read video monitors
- Ability to speak another language based on location of restaurant
