Job Summary
Deliver exceptional guest experiences by consistently providing excellent service, great tasting food, and a clean environment while performing one or more workstations. Acknowledge and welcome guests, take and clarify orders, enter orders into the POS system, and assemble orders with accuracy. Maintain interior and exterior cleanliness by sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning dining rooms, restrooms, and drive-thru areas. Prepare ingredients, operate fryers, and ensure food safety standards are met. Follow Jack in the Box procedures, systems, and standards to maintain quality and speed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to read and understand written English
- Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to stand and walk approximately 90%-95% of shift
- Ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
- Ability to lift and carry 15-25 lbs
- Ability to listen to guests' orders
- Ability to operate a cash register
- Ability to read video monitors
- Ability to speak another language based on location of restaurant
Desired Qualifications
- Guest service experience
- Food cook/preparation experience
- Comfort working in a high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
