Job Summary
Deliver an exceptional guest experience by consistently providing excellent service, great tasting food, and a clean restaurant environment. Perform one or more workstations including taking and clarifying orders, entering orders into the POS system, and assembling products using correct ingredients and portioning. Maintain high standards for food safety, quality, and temperature while ensuring order accuracy and proper bagging. Clean and stock work areas, sweep parking lots and drive-thru zones, empty trash cans, and sanitize dishes and utensils. Work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment following Jack in the Box procedures, systems, and standards to meet 20/20 guest expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to read and understand written English
- Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to stand and walk approximately 90%-95% of shift
- Ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
- Ability to lift and carry 15-25 lbs
- Ability to listen to guests' orders
- Ability to operate a cash register
- Ability to read video monitors
- Ability to speak another language based on location of restaurant
Desired Qualifications

- Food cook/preparation experience
- Comfort working in a high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
