Job Summary
Deliver exceptional guest experiences by performing one or more workstations in accordance with Jack in the Box procedures, systems, and standards. Acknowledge and welcome guests, take and clarify orders, enter orders in the POS system, and hand or deliver orders while ensuring food quality, presentation, and temperature standards. Maintain restaurant cleanliness by sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning dining areas, restrooms, and exteriors, including drive-thru zones and dumpster slabs. Prepare and assemble food products, operate fryers with timers, manage inventory, and follow all food safety policies and hand washing procedures. Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while adhering to uniform standards and team protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to read and understand written English
- Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to stand and walk approximately 90%-95% of shift
- Ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
- Ability to lift and carry 15-25 lbs
- Ability to listen to guests' orders
- Ability to operate a cash register
- Ability to read video monitors
- Ability to speak another language based on location of restaurant
