Job Summary
Deliver an exceptional guest experience by consistently providing excellent service, great tasting food, and a clean restaurant environment. Perform one or more workstations including taking and clarifying orders, entering orders in the POS system, and assembling products using correct ingredients and portioning. Maintain interior cleanliness by sweeping, mopping floors, washing tables and chairs, and sanitizing dishes, while ensuring exterior areas like parking lots and drive-thru slabs are swept and trash is emptied. Follow food safety policies, operate fryers and timers, and adhere to Jack in the Box procedures, systems, and standards to meet guest expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to read and understand written English
- Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to listen to guests' orders
- Ability to operate a cash register
- Ability to read video monitors
- Ability to stand and walk approximately 90%-95% of shift
- Ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
- Ability to lift and carry 15-25 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience Guest service
- Food cook/preparation experience
- Comfort working in a high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
- Ability to speak another language based on location of restaurant
