Job Summary
Deliver an exceptional guest experience by consistently providing excellent service, great tasting food, and a clean restaurant environment while performing one or more workstations in accordance with Jack in the Box procedures. Acknowledge and welcome guests, take and clarify orders, enter orders in the POS system, and hand or deliver orders directly. Maintain interior and exterior cleanliness by sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning dining areas, restrooms, and drive-thru zones, while ensuring food safety through proper hand washing, glove use, and ingredient inspection. Assemble products using correct ingredients, operate fryers and timers, and follow all food safety policies and procedures. Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a sense of urgency, ensuring order accuracy and consistent service standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to read and understand written English
- Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to stand and walk approximately 90%-95% of shift
- Ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
- Ability to lift and carry 15-25 lbs
- Ability to listen to guests' orders
- Ability to operate a cash register
- Ability to read video monitors
- Ability to speak another language based on location of restaurant
