Job Summary
Lead the team in delivering exceptional guest experiences by managing front-of-house operations, including order taking, cashiering, and ensuring food quality and safety standards. Coordinate resources across grill, assembly, and prep stations to maintain consistent, fast service while enforcing cleanliness protocols in interior and exterior areas. Train and coach staff on JIB procedures, guest expectations, and workstation operations; resolve guest complaints immediately and ensure compliance with labor laws and food safety policies. Monitor cash management, complete daily food safety checklists, and address order errors proactively. Thrive in a high-volume environment by maintaining a calm, professional atmosphere and inspiring team members to embrace the brand.
Required Qualifications
- 6 consecutive months JIB experience
- 100% certified in all workstations for internal promotes
- 1-year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail customer service environment
- At least 18 years old
- Complete Team Leader training classes
- ServSafe certified (in certain states)
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Ability to speak another language to guests based on location of restaurant
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform and understand basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to work well with diverse groups of people
- Proven analytical skills
- Good organization and planning skills
- Self-starter who takes initiative and willingly accepts responsibility
- Basic knowledge of personal computers and related software applications
- Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
- Ability to stand and walk approximately 90%-95% of shift
- Ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
- Ability to lift and carry 15-25 lbs
- Ability to listen to guests' orders
- Ability to operate a cash register
- Ability to read video monitors
