Job Summary
Train and lead team members on delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring high-quality food, fast service, and strict compliance with Jack in the Box procedures. Model calm productivity during busy times, coordinate floor resources, and coach staff on order accuracy, food safety, and cleanliness standards. Handle guest complaints using the three-step resolution process, manage cash handling, and oversee all workstation operations including grill, assembly, and fryer duties. Perform interior and exterior cleaning tasks, maintain equipment, and ensure the restaurant meets all brand hospitality and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 6 consecutive months JIB experience
- 100% certified in all workstations for internal promotes
- 1-year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail customer service environment
- At least 18 years old
- Complete Team Leader training classes
- ServSafe certified (in certain states)
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Ability to speak another language to guests based on location of restaurant
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform and understand basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to work well with diverse groups of people
- Proven analytical skills
- Good organization and planning skills
- Self-starter who takes initiative and willingly accepts responsibility
- Basic knowledge of personal computers and related software applications
- Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
- Ability to stand and walk approximately 90%-95% of shift
- Ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
- Ability to lift and carry 15-25 lbs
- Ability to listen to guests' orders
- Ability to operate a cash register
- Ability to read video monitors
