Job Summary
Lead the team in delivering exceptional guest experiences by managing floor operations, ensuring food quality and safety compliance, and resolving guest complaints using the "Listen, Say Sorry, Make It Right" protocol. Train and coach staff on workstation procedures, menu knowledge, and JIB standards across all roles including grill, assembly, and fryer. Maintain restaurant cleanliness through interior and exterior duties while handling order taking, cashiering, and cash management during busy shifts.
Required Qualifications
- 6 consecutive months JIB experience
- 100% certified in all workstations for internal promotes
- 1-year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail customer service environment
- At least 18 years old
- Complete Team Leader training classes
- ServSafe certified (in certain states)
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Ability to speak another language to guests based on location of restaurant
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform and understand basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to work well with diverse groups of people
- Proven analytical skills
- Good organization and planning skills
- Self-starter who takes initiative and willingly accepts responsibility
- Basic knowledge of personal computers and related software applications
- Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
- Ability to stand and walk approximately 90%-95% of shift
- Ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
- Ability to lift and carry 15-25 lbs
- Ability to listen to guests' orders
- Ability to operate a cash register
- Ability to read video monitors
