Job Summary
Manage the floor by coordinating team resources, ensuring compliance with JIB standards and labor laws, and supervising workstation operations across grill, assembly, prep, and fryer stations. Train and coach team members on guest expectations, food quality, order accuracy, and cleanliness protocols while resolving guest complaints using the "Listens, Says Sorry, Makes it Right" method. Model professional grooming, maintain interior and exterior cleanliness, and assist with order taking and cashiering during busy periods. Complete the Food Safety Checklist each shift, monitor product freshness, and handle cash management. Conduct on-boarding, provide feedback, and apprise management of employee issues. Thrive in a fast-paced environment by maintaining a friendly, safe restaurant atmosphere and ensuring all products meet temperature and presentation standards.
Required Qualifications
- 6 consecutive months JIB experience
- 100% certified in all workstations for internal promotes
- 1-year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail customer service environment
- At least 18 years old
- Complete Team Leader training classes
- ServSafe certified (in certain states)
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Ability to speak another language to guests based on location of restaurant
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform and understand basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Ability to work well with diverse groups of people
- Proven analytical skills
- Good organization and planning skills
- Self-starter who takes initiative and willingly accepts responsibility
- Basic knowledge of personal computers and related software applications
- Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
- Ability to stand and walk approximately 90%-95% of shift
- Ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
- Ability to lift and carry 15-25 lbs
- Ability to listen to guests' orders
- Ability to operate a cash register
- Ability to read video monitors
