Job Summary
Manage restaurant operations in conjunction with or in the absence of the Restaurant Manager, ensuring effective execution of the Service Profit Chain and Brand Promise. Provide excellent internal and external service while building sales and profit, maintaining compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. Recruit, train, and develop employees; monitor staffing levels; and analyze operational and financial performance using management information tools. Develop action plans to increase profitability, monitor costs, and ensure adherence to food safety and cleanliness standards. Respond to guest concerns promptly and maintain a positive brand image through consistent food quality and restaurant maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a Shift Leader or 1 year experience as an Assistant Manager in a customer service environment
- 100% certified in all workstations
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assistant Manager with some P&L responsibility
- At least 18 years old
- ServSafe certified
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform and understand basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Proven analytical skills
- Good organization and planning skills
- Self-starter who takes initiative and willingly accepts responsibility
- Working knowledge of personal computers and related software applications
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and use personal vehicle to make bank deposits and travel to other restaurants/business locations as required
- Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
- Ability to stand and walk approximately 85%-95% of shift
- Ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
- Ability to move freely throughout the restaurant
- Ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle
- Ability to operate a computer keyboard
- Must complete Assistant Manager training classes
