Job Summary
Vice President, Wealth Planner at JP Morgan Wealth Management provides sophisticated tax and trust & estate planning guidance to clients and advisors. Develops and presents content on wealth management topics, integrates estate and tax planning concepts into goals-based advice, maintains knowledge of federal and state tax laws, and promotes the firm’s knowledge to outside centers of influence. Collaborates with field leadership to identify opportunities and develop business with new and existing clients; travels to local and out-of-state branches as needed. Requires a 4-year college degree and CFP/CPA/J.D./LLM, plus strong communication, teamwork, and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year college degree and CFP or CPA or J.D. or LLM
- Self-starter with natural curiosity for individual planning and people
- Excellent attention to detail with strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong team player with a predisposition to service function
- Ability to drive business results with broad background in trust and estate planning issues
- A strong self-motivated individual who can work closely with Advisors without daily contact with a direct manager
- Strong presentation skills in one on one and group meetings
- Experience and ability in understanding clients’ financial situations and personal circumstance
- Must be able to coach colleagues, Financial Advisors and clients (very strong partnership skills)
- Individual with high ethical standards who never sacrifices integrity and works in the clients’ best interest
