Job Summary
VP Wealth Management role focused on driving strategic initiatives and growth for Financial Advisors and Field Leaders; acts as a bridge between business development, sales, product and operations to ensure successful rollout of new products, services, and processes; responsibilities include executing new business development strategies, managing timelines for field execution, coordinating training and adoption of new technology and practice management, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and collecting feedback for continuous improvement; requires strong cross-functional collaboration, executive-level communication, and stakeholder management, with 50% travel; must hold or obtain Series 7, SIE, Series 66, and Life and Health licenses within 60 days; experience coaching Advisors or a sales team; travel 50%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 7 + years of experience in business development, project management, sales management or implementation roles within financial services
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management abilities
- Knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements
- Experience in coaching Advisors or a sales team
- A valid and active Series 7 license is required or may be obtained within a 60-day condition of employment
- If you were registered after October 1, 2018, you must also have a valid and active Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam
- A valid and active Series 66 (63/65), and Life and Health Insurance license must be obtained within 60 days of starting in the role as a condition of employment
