Job Summary
VP, Business Development Consultant within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management responsible for executing strategic initiatives, implementing new products/services, and coordinating cross-functional efforts across business development, sales, product, and operations. Drives field adoption, trains and supports sales teams, monitors progress, identifies risks, and solicits feedback to inform continuous improvement. Builds relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to enable successful implementation; travel ~50% and hold required licenses (Series 7, SIE, Series 66, Life/Health) within specified timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in business development, project management, sales management or implementation roles within financial services
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management abilities
- Knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements
- Experience in coaching Advisors or a sales team
- Travel required 50% of the time
- A valid and active Series 7 license is required or may be obtained within a 60-day condition of employment
- If you were registered after October 1, 2018, you must also have a valid and active Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam
- A valid and active Series 66 (63/65), and Life and Health Insurance license must be obtained within 60 days of starting in the role as a condition of employment
