Job Summary
VP, Business Development Consultant in J.P. Morgan Wealth Management responsible for executing strategic business initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, leading training for sales and support teams, and ensuring adoption of new technology and processes. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field, 7+ years in business development/project management/sales/implementation within financial services, proven project-lead skills, strong communication and stakeholder management, and relevant licenses (Series 7, SIE, Series 66 and Life/Health insurance). Travel 50% of the time. Locations: Mandeville, LA, USA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in business development, project management, sales management or implementation roles within financial services
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management abilities
- Knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements
- Experience in coaching Advisors or a sales team
- A valid and active Series 7 license is required or may be obtained within a 60-day condition of employment
- If you were registered after October 1, 2018, you must also have a valid and active Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam
- A valid and active Series 66 (63/65), and Life and Health Insurance license must be obtained within 60 days of starting in the role as a condition of employment
