Job Summary
J.P. Morgan Wealth Management is seeking a Senior-level Business Development Consultant (VP) to drive strategic initiatives and partner across business development, sales, product, and operations. Responsibilities include executing new business development strategies for Financial Advisors and Field Leaders, managing timelines for field execution, coordinating and leading training for sales and support teams on new technology and practice management, monitoring progress and risks in implementation, collecting feedback for continuous improvement, and fostering strong internal/external relationships to enable successful rollout of products and services. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 7+ years in related roles, strong project management and cross-functional collaboration, excellent communication and stakeholder management, knowledge of financial products and regulatory requirements, coaching experience, and 50% travel. Licensing requirements include Series 7, SIE, Series 66 (63/65) and Life/Health license within 60 days; location is Columbus, OH with on-site expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in business development, project management, sales management or implementation roles within financial services
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management abilities
- Knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements
- Experience in coaching Advisors or a sales team
- Travel required 50% of the time
- A valid and active Series 7 license is required or may be obtained within a 60-day condition of employment
- If you were registered after October 1, 2018, you must also have a valid and active Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam
- A valid and active Series 66 (63/65), and Life and Health Insurance license must be obtained within 60 days of starting in the role as a condition of employment
