Job Summary
Business Development Consultant in Wealth Management to execute strategic initiatives and lead the rollout of new products, services, and processes across J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. Act as a bridge between business development, sales, product, and operations to drive project delivery, field adoption, and growth objectives. Responsibilities include implementing new strategies for Financial Advisors and Field Leaders, managing timelines, coordinating and leading training for sales and support teams, monitoring progress, identifying risks, collecting feedback for continuous improvement, and fostering relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in business development, project management, sales management or implementation roles within financial services
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management abilities
- Knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements
- Experience in coaching Advisors or a sales team
- Travel required 50% of the time
- A valid and active Series 7 license is required or may be obtained within a 60-day condition of employment
- If you were registered after October 1, 2018, you must also have a valid and active Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam
- A valid and active Series 66 (63/65), and Life and Health Insurance license must be obtained within 60 days of starting in the role as a condition of employment
