Job Summary
J.P. Morgan Wealth Management is hiring a Private Client Advisor in Manhattan, NY. You will build a book of business and deliver personalized investment solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families, educate clients on technology and channels for digital banking, provide holistic financial coaching beyond investments, and collaborate with partners to deepen client relationships. Key responsibilities include relationship management, client acquisition, understanding financial markets, maintaining integrity, and leveraging digital innovations to enable clients to bank how they want. Required qualifications include 2+ years in financial services, Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (or they must be obtained within 60 days), and a Life/Health/Long-Term Care license (also to be obtained within 60 days). A CFP certification is preferred, and a Bachelor's degree is preferred. The role involves advising on comprehensive financial planning and investment solutions, serving a diverse client base, and working within Chase Wealth Management’s platform.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years in a Financial Advisor role or equivalent financial services experience
- Demonstrated success in client acquisition, cultivating and maintaining client relationships, and integrating with key partners
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to goals-based planning and advice
- A valid and active Series 7 license
- A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license or must be obtained within 60 days of starting in the role as a condition of employment
- A valid and active Life, Health and Long Term Care Insurance license or must be obtained within 60 days of starting in the role as a condition of employment
- Preferred CFP certification is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
