IVF Lab Tech II

Job Summary
Perform embryo evaluation, grading, and freezing; prepare fertilization materials and culture plates; fertilization and culture plate preparation; handle and prepare semen for IVF procedures; maintain accurate records and data entry; support quality control processes and embryology training. Requires a Bachelor's degree in animal science or a related field or Veterinary Technician degree; strong laboratory skills, microscope work, precise manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Preference for knowledge of the cattle industry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in animal science or a related field, or Veterinary Technician degree
- Ability to sit for long periods of time behind a microscope, in a lab setting.
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to perform precise laboratory work
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Works effectively in a team as well as alone.
- Knowledge of the cattle industry is preferred.
