Job Summary
Lead end-to-end development of Interactive Virtual Assistant (IVA) and digital/chat solutions. Build and optimize conversational experiences, including intent recognition, entity extraction, dialogue flow management, and robust API integrations. Leverage IVA platforms (e.g., Kore.ai, Dialogflow, Lex, Bot Framework) and apply NLU/NLG, data handling with JSON/SQL/NoSQL, and QA testing to deliver high-availability conversational AI. Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and data scientists; stay updated on AI/ML/NLP advances and explore Small Language Models for task optimization. Travel up to 25%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Linguistics, Data Science, or related quantitative field
- Experience on a Conversational AI Platform
- Experience with Generative AI (Gen AI) for conversational AI products
- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and NLU
- Experience with Node.js as backend for chatbot development
- Experience with REST and SOAP Web Services
- Experience in design and solution architecture for chatbots & voicebots
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in developing and deploying IVR/Digital, Voicebots, Chatbots, or Conversational AI solutions
- Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP Web Services
- Strong expertise in Java, Python, and Node.js
- Proficiency with JSON
- Experience with SQL databases and NoSQL (Redis/MongoDB)
- Knowledge of NLP/NLU concepts including intent classification and dialogue management
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Experience with Small Language Models (SLMs)
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Bachelor's or equivalent practical experience
