Job Summary
Clean, maintain, and monitor the Sterile Compounding Room in accordance with USP 797 and state regulatory standards. Compound sterile preparations within a Class 100 cleanroom environment and prepare prescriptions for long-term care residents and high-risk pregnancy patients. Support quality assurance processes, assist with data entry and refill coordination, and stage medication orders accurately. Maintain infusion pumps and emergency drug kits while performing shipping and tracking for Alere packages. Replenish inventory, answer phones, and collaborate with the Lead IV Technician and Pharmacy Supervisor to ensure compliance. Work Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy Technician license as required by state
- 6 months – 1 year of IV Pharmacy Technician experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to operate a computer; recognize and identify medications
- Detail oriented
