IV Safety RN leads IV therapy and infusion-safety initiatives, supports evidence-based practices, mentors staff, collaborates with clinical leadership to improve workflows, and participates in performance evaluations and quality initiatives to reduce risk and improve patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure
- 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire
