Job Summary
Join UniversaCare as a PRN Home Infusion Registered Nurse, providing vital infusion therapies in patients' homes. Responsibilities include delivering personalized nursing care, assessing patient conditions, and ensuring proper execution of treatment plans. Required qualifications include an active RN license in NY, at least two years of critical care experience, proficiency in IV therapies, valid driver’s license, CPR/BLS certification, and knowledge of HIPAA regulations. Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted registered nurse with current license in state of NY
- Two (2)+ years of experience working as an RN in a Critical Care setting that contributes to proficiency in infusion therapy
- Possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance/registration
- Ability to handle specialty cases like IGG, IVIG, Solumedrol, etc.
- Have and maintain current CPR / BLS certification
- Knowledge of HIPAA patient privacy and data security requirements; OSHA employee protection regulations
- Hold current Malpractice Insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with lab draws, IV infusions, and reconstitution of medications
- Strong experience with working with a variety of pumps (CAAD, curling, etc) & troubleshooting issues that may arise
- Experience with Microsoft Office to document and track patient care activity
