IV/Compounding Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary
Prepare prescription orders by verifying information, pulling from inventory, and applying labels to medication packaging. Scan and assemble orders into appropriate bins, alerting the pharmacist on duty of any scanning issues. Maintain inventory levels by removing expired meds, marking used bottles, and keeping the workstation clean and orderly. Participate in training activities to gain proficiency in fulfillment workflows and communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply. Comply with local, state, and federal laws regarding prescription dispensing while meeting established accuracy and productivity levels. Work Monday through Friday with rotating shifts between 9:0am and 7:30pm, including weekend coverage, under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements)
- Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements)
- Ability to work flexible hours
- 1+ years of related experience
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
- Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire about inaccuracies
- Ability to work Monday - Friday Rotating shifts between hours of 9:0am-7:30pm
- Rotating weekends
