Job Summary
Perform general maintenance and custodial-type duties, simple carpentry tasks, painting and light interior renovations, routine cleaning and housekeeping in gallery facilities, snow removal at entrances, light gardening, and setup/cleanup for special events (including an annual outdoor art show). Provide AV projection booth support for events and assist with packing/shipping of art-related materials and merchandise. Build crates for artworks scheduled to travel and assist with installation preparation as directed. Requires ability to read and understand written/verbal instructions and 1-2 years of relevant experience; valid NY driver9s license. Work at University of Rochester facilities in Rochester, NY with day shift, 40 hours per week. Compensation range $21.34 - $27.04 hourly; pay determined by bargaining agreement.
