Job Summary
Infant/Toddler Teacher position with Oregon Child Development Coalition in The Dalles, OR. Responsibilities include ensuring safety, health, and development of infants and toddlers; planning and implementing developmentally appropriate Head Start-aligned curriculum; supervising classroom; conducting developmental screenings/observations/ assessments; collaborating with families and specialists; conducting home visits and parent-teacher conferences; participating in meetings and training; guiding staff and volunteers; maintaining records; promoting nutrition and health standards; supporting family engagement and transportation/field trips as needed; maintaining confidentiality; responding to emergencies with First Aid/CPR.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or Diploma de Educacion Secundaria or higher AND Infant Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate within 6 months from date of hire OR One year Oregon community college certificate in field WITH training or coursework in early childhood development with a focus on infant and toddler development.
- Infant/Toddler Teacher E - $20.95- $23.28 hourly ($23.05-$25.61 hourly in Metro locations)
- Infant/Toddler Teacher C - $22.42-$24.92 hourly ($25.01-$27.40 hourly in Metro locations)
- Infant/Toddler Teacher A - $23.99- $26.65 hourly ($26.38- $29.32 hourly in Metro locations)
- Infant/Toddler Teacher B - $25.67- $28.52 hourly ($29.42- $31.37 hourly in Metro locations)
- Metro locations include Washington County and Multnomah County sites.
