Job Summary
Lead the due diligence process to assess the current Monitoring and Automation environment, including SCOM, SolarWinds, and asset discovery tools. Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of existing configurations, integrations, and customizations while collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to extract a full picture of the ecosystem. Identify opportunities to implement new solutions such as Dynatrace, Ansible, or BMC Discovery to enhance efficiency and automate key processes. Deliver clear documentation and strategic recommendations to inform decision-making and planning for the long-term evolution of London's ticketing system.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience leading or overseeing Systems Monitoring/Automation Operations with mixed stack of COTS and Open-Source Solutions
- Technical background knowledge, and experience on implementation of different types of Monitoring (Server, Logs, Application Performance Management, Synthetic)
- experience on implementation of different types of Automation tools
- experience on implementation of different types of IT discovering process
Desired Qualifications
- Past exposure to Microsoft SCOM/SCORCH
