Job Summary
Assign approved origin agents to pack shipments in mainland USA or globally and coordinate door-to-door logistics for household goods, including pickup, packing, ocean and air freight, storage, and delivery. Act as the primary contact for customers, providing updates and resolving concerns throughout the move process. Book air and ocean transportation using cost analysis while preparing, reviewing, and maintaining shipment documentation such as estimates, inventories, bills of lading, and delivery receipts. Monitor shipment progress to proactively resolve delays, damages, or service issues and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable transportation regulations. Track shipment costs and perform other related duties as assigned. This role supports the Government Logistics Department with GSA agencies moving personal effects worldwide.
Required Qualifications
- Must have ITGBL experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years' of experience in logistics, transportation, moving services, or relocation coordination preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Working in a networked environment using Windows and/or Windows like interface using Microsoft Office suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook at a proficient level
