Job Summary
Sales Manager Nutritional, Cosmetical and Functional Food Ingredients responsible for business development and sales of phytonutrients, standardized herbal extracts, specialty fine chemicals, and organic intermediates to B2B clients in Italy. The role is office-based in Milan with regular visits to the head office in Germany; travel about 50% of the time. Requires 5 years of experience in B2B food ingredients/supplements, a scientific degree, and fluency in English and Italian. Focus on selling to Contract Manufacturing Companies or CMOs within the nutritional, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries; target markets include Italy with emphasis on food, cosmetic, and functional foods sectors.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of work experience in B2B food ingredients / supplements sector
- Commercial backgrounds in sales & marketing
- A scientific degree (food technology, biochemistry, chemistry, pharmacy, biology or comparable)
- Fluent in English and Italian
