Job Summary
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students online and in person across all Italian skill levels. Assist students with homework and test preparation while utilizing effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate them. Monitor student progress, provide feedback in session reports, and collaborate with classroom teachers to align sessions with the curriculum. Maintain a safe learning environment and reliably commute between clients, with flexible work-from-home options available. Fluency in Italian and at least two years of tutoring experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in Italian
- At least 2 years of tutoring experience
- Previous experience working with students, preferably with all ages, especially early childhood
- Knowledge of various teaching methods and techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
Desired Qualifications
- Special consideration will be given to candidates who are capable of teaching or tutoring other subjects including other foreign languages, English, social studies and history, mathematics, and science
