Job Summary
Proofread video game content for spelling, syntax, and typography while checking for consistency and writing error reports. Perform minor translations and ensure subtitles match audio tracks. Maintain proficiency in spoken and written Italian alongside excellent English communication skills for client and team interaction. Live in the Ottawa area and work from home or in-office based on project demands. This role offers an hourly rate of $19.75 with a $2.50 bonus after 7:00 PM, plus internet subsidies for remote workers and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Italian (spoken and written)
- Excellent written & spoken English

- Live in the Ottawa area
- Available to work from home and in-office according to project demands
- Hold Canadian citizenship, a permanent residency, an open work permit, a Working Holiday Visa, or in the process of requesting a work permit
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks while managing your time efficiently
- Comfortable with digital technologies (computers, video game consoles, touchscreens)
- An interest in the video game industry
- Experience in a similar position or in a related field (an asset)
