ITAD Sales Specialist

Job Summary
Drive new business and expand market presence by prospecting enterprise clients, government agencies, and key markets for ITAD solutions including data security, asset recovery, and recycling. Build long-term relationships as a trusted advisor on compliance and security while negotiating contracts, closing deals, and guiding clients through onboarding. Manage sales pipelines using CRM tools, provide performance updates to leadership, and collaborate with internal teams to implement seamless service delivery. Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes to tailor solutions that address client requirements for environmental responsibility and data destruction.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record in ITAD sales
- Deep knowledge of ITAD processes
- Strong ability to build long-term client relationships
- Deep understanding of IT asset disposition (ITAD) processes
- Data security requirements
- Environmental regulations
- Industry certifications (e.g., R2, e-Stewards, HIPAA, GDPR, NIST standards)
- Strong consultative sales skills
- Ability to understand client pain points
- Offer tailored solutions
- Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles
- Negotiate large deals
- Familiarity with IT hardware
- Data destruction methods
- Asset recovery strategies
- Ability to discuss technical aspects of ITAD with IT professionals
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
- Track sales activities
