Job Summary
Hybrid IT & Workplace Experience Specialist who sits at the intersection of IT, office experience, and people operations. Owns primary IT and workplace support across the Toronto office, handling hardware/software/SaaS issues, administering Google Workspace and collaboration tools, IT asset management, and onboarding/offboarding workflows. Partners with IT, HR, and Operations to ensure a welcoming, productive environment, including AV setup, meeting-room readiness, vendor relationships, and office logistics. Develops self-serve resources and SOPs, champions tool adoption (Slack and Google Workspace), enforces security practices (SSO/MFA/least-privilege), and contributes to audits and policy updates. This role emphasizes ownership, proactive problem-solving, and a strong employee experience from Day 1 onward.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years in an IT support, helpdesk, or workplace operations role
- Hands-on experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 administration
- Comfortable with Slack workspace management and Zoom configuration
- Experience with identity and access tools such as Okta or JumpCloud
- Familiarity with MDM platforms like Jamf or Intune
- Solid grasp of onboarding and offboarding workflows end to end
- A service mindset: you treat every request as a chance to make someone's day easier
- Strong written communication across both technical docs and casual messages
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward taking ownership
