Job Summary
IT Service Desk Intern to support and enhance internal IT support services; work with Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, and enterprise infrastructure. Responsibilities include providing technical support for hardware/software in a Microsoft 365 environment, setting up desktop computers (Windows and Mac), assisting with Active Directory user accounts, procurement and distribution of IT equipment, assisting with Office 365, SharePoint, and ServiceNow tasks, contributing to knowledge-base documentation in ServiceNow, supporting hardware/software inventory management, troubleshooting AV conferencing systems, administering core hosted applications, and collaborating with local IT vendors and internal teams.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows and/or Mac OS
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Office, Teams, Outlook)
- Interest in IT support, troubleshooting, and end-user services
- Basic understanding of networking, device management, or identity management (a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on-site in the Erlangen office
