Job Summary
Conduct end user training, new employee onboarding, and post-implementation optimization for newly implemented technology applications. Deliver instruction through role-playing, team exercises, and lectures while designing self-paced learning avenues using video and audio tools. Schedule classes based on classroom and equipment availability and develop specific classroom-style programs for new hardware and software. Create training procedure manuals, guides, and visual materials, then monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through surveys and focus groups. Manage small project initiatives and investigate intermittent technical problems to ensure training stability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Degree in a related field
- 2-3 years Proven IT training experience
- Experience preferably in a healthcare setting
- Competency in Cerner Bundle of Applications, Particularly Registration, Scheduling, and PowerChart
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications
- Significant experience training business applications such as Kronos, Lawson, etc.
- Solid knowledge of the workflow of business and clinical applications
- Mastery of an eLearning authoring tool, preferably Captivate
- Significant hands-on experience developing a range of quick reference guides
- Mastery of Utilizing SnagIt
- Proven track record of excellence as a professional
- Fire Life Safety Training (LA City)
- Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date
