Job Summary
Lead the Commissioning Team as principal technical authority for IT, telecommunications, structured cabling, and network infrastructure on a large-scale memory manufacturing facility in Boise, Idaho. Provide expert guidance throughout design reviews, installation verification, testing, commissioning, and system turnover, ensuring all activities align with owner requirements, standards, and operational-readiness milestones. Coordinate interfaces with electrical, controls, security, and facility teams while managing punch-lists, documentation, and final acceptance to support reliable production startup. Full-time on-site engagement required with extended hours during testing and commissioning phases.
Required Qualifications
- Ten or more years of progressively responsible experience in IT, telecommunications, network infrastructure, structured cabling, or related technical systems.
- Extensive experience with complex construction, installation, testing, startup, commissioning, or system-turnover activities.
- Demonstrated subject-matter expertise in enterprise network and telecommunications infrastructure.
- Experience working on semiconductor fabrication facilities, high-tech manufacturing sites, data centers, mission-critical facilities, pharmaceutical facilities, industrial plants, or similarly complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, structured cabling, fiber optics, copper systems, telecommunications spaces, network equipment, grounding, redundancy, and system integration.
- Proven ability to review technical drawings, specifications, submittals, test procedures, and commissioning documentation.
- Experience witnessing, evaluating, and documenting system testing.
- Ability to identify complex technical issues and provide practical, defensible solutions.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, system completion, turnover, and operational-readiness processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with executives, engineers, contractors, technicians, vendors, commissioning personnel, and owner representatives.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and issue-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, schedule-driven project environment.
- Willingness and ability to work full-time on-site in Boise, Idaho.
Desired Qualifications
- Fifteen or more years of relevant IT/telecom or network-infrastructure experience.
- Direct commissioning experience on semiconductor fabrication or advanced memory-manufacturing projects.
- Experience with large-scale cleanroom, process-support, central-utility, or mission-critical environments.
- Experience supporting phased turnover, startup, and production
