Job Summary
Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, deploy, and repair all district technology including hardware, software, operating systems, and audio-visual equipment. Coordinate with IT Coordinators to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operation of educational technology environments while maintaining accurate inventory records. Support morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend events on a rotating basis, documenting all support requests and solutions. Collaborate on long-term strategies for future IT needs and assist with assigned duties. This role requires CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience, proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Windows, and the ability to lift heavy objects and climb ladders. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- CompTIA A+ certification, Avixa CTS, or equivalent experience
- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently under varying deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
- Comprehensive knowledge of and experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Windows, Apple macOS and iOS, Google ChromeOS, and computer-based hardware and software in an educational environment
- Experience with the operation and installation of audio, video and lighting technologies in an educational environment
- Ability to maintain an exceptionally high cyber security posture at all times
- Ability to lift and transport heavy to moderately heavy objects, as well as climb ladders, route cables underneath desks, and operate in various mechanical areas typically inaccessible to the public
- Ability to communicate effectively with high school students and staff in a positive and proactive manner
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
