Job Summary
IT Technician - Support and Operations: Provides 1st/2nd-line IT support across hardware, software, networks, Microsoft 365, and business systems for ~200 users across 6 businesses and 14 UK locations including Ireland. Role includes service desk triage, documentation, IT asset management, supplier liaison, and contributing to continuous improvement of IT services. Key tasks include incident/ticket ownership, communications with users, administration of Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Active Directory/Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive/Exchange Online, and infrastructure support (LAN/WAN/Wi‐Fi/DNS/DHCP/TCP‐IP/VPN/VLANs/firewalls/VoIP). Environment spans Windows, Linux, Hyper‐V, ERP/CRM/SAP/BI reporting, and ITSM processes. Requires strong troubleshooting, written and verbal communication, ability to work in a varied support environment, and at least 2 years in IT-related roles. Training and development offered; scope to deepen technical knowledge and contribute across IT and business operations.
