Job Summary
Maintain data, operations, and maintenance of the Iron County computer and related systems under the guidance of the I.T. Director and Manager. Perform a variety of technical duties including analyzing personal computer issues, managing hardware configurations, and applying new procedures. Provide excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information and adhering to strict drug-free and background screening policies. Work occasional extended hours and weekends as needed to address emergencies. Submit applications electronically via www.ironcounty.net prior to the close of the posting on 08/25/2026.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (minimum) in Computer Science or related field
- At least two (2) years of related experience
- Valid Utah Driver's License
- Compliance with Iron County's vehicle/driving policy
- Availability to work occasional, extended hours and/or weekends (as needed)
- Pass a criminal background check
- Ability to obtain NCIC criminal background clearance
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Compliance with Iron County drug and alcohol policies and guidelines
- Knowledge of advanced Information Technology principles and technologies
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of internet browsers
- Knowledge of computers
- Knowledge of word processing
- Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures
- Knowledge of personal computer software and hardware configurations/capabilities
