Job Summary
IT Technician provides first-level support to Altasciences users for devices and software, handles Helpdesk requests via tickets, troubleshoots user and device issues, and assists with deployments and upgrades. Responsibilities include documenting incidents and solutions, resolving problems with Windows PCs, mobile devices, and Cisco phones, provisioning computers with the appropriate software and OS, and contributing to projects that enhance helpdesk efficiency and user satisfaction. Required qualifications include a college IT-related degree, 1-3 years of related experience, and a CompTIA A+ certification, along with working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Cisco phones, PC hardware, mobile devices, Microsoft Office, DHCP/DNS/TCP/IP, Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, AirWatch MDM, WDS, Antivirus software, and VPNs.
Required Qualifications
- College degree in an IT-related program
- 1-3 years of related experience
- CompTIA A+ certification
- Basic to Intermediate knowledge of Windows 10/11
- Basic to Intermediate knowledge of Cisco Phone Equipment
- Basic to Intermediate knowledge of PC and laptop hardware
- Basic to Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
- Active Directory
- Remote Desktop Services
- AirWatch Mobile Device Management
- Windows Deployment Services (WDS)
- Antivirus software
- VPN technology
