IT Technician

Job Summary
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and system components; set up desktops and laptops according to company specifications; support and maintain local networks to ensure optimal performance; troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and resolve problems quickly; ensure the security and integrity of network and computer systems; provide guidance and training to team members on proper use of systems and equipment; schedule system upgrades and maintenance with minimal disruption to operations; maintain accurate records of repairs, updates, and maintenance schedules; identify equipment or technology needs and assist with ordering replacements; support new restaurant openings and operational needs as required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar technical support role
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Solid understanding of computer systems, networks, and operating systems
- Knowledge of internet security and data privacy best practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
- Experience troubleshooting network and camera cabling
- Travel approximately 25% based on company needs and restaurant openings
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, or similar
- Experience installing or troubleshooting network/camera cabling (a plus)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience supporting IT systems across multiple locations (restaurant operations)
