Job Summary

Assist the IT Administrator with daily tasks including systems support, LAN/WAN support, network troubleshooting, web systems support, and helpdesk inquiries via phone, email, or in-person requests. Install software, configure and troubleshoot network printers and computers, and maintain equipment inventory. Onboard new staff by setting up systems and training on software, while providing ongoing education to current employees based on skill assessments. Keep network and website documents current and deliver status reports to the supervisor through various communication channels. Perform other duties as assigned in an office environment with occasional out-of-area travel.

Required Qualifications

  • An associate degree in a technical field with 0-5 years of experience
  • A high school diploma with equivalent experience in the field
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field with 3-5 years of experience
  • Equivalent experience in the field
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field with at least 5 years' experience
  • Thorough knowledge of computer networks, systems, web systems, and PC maintenance
  • Ability to plan and organize work
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge of specialized applications such as Microsoft Office 365, Go To Resolve, Azure Active Directory as well as other business applications
  • Experience in managing and supporting systems in a networked environment
  • Experience with computer systems and providing customer service in a technological environment
  • Ability to work with many individuals as well as groups of individuals
  • A pleasant, positive, patient, and friendly attitude
  • Skilled in problem analysis and resolution to accurately assess customer needs
  • Must hold a valid driver's license
  • Must carry personal auto insurance for privately owned vehicles utilized for CCS business
  • Must have liability coverage of $300,000 or more for bodily injury
  • Must have liability coverage of $100,000 or more for property damage
  • Must submit proof of coverage
  • Must maintain said level of coverage for the duration of employment at CCS
  • Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 181.536-181.537 and in accordance with OAR 410-007-0200 through 410-007-0380
  • Must be checked on a monthly basis against the OIG and GSA exclusion lists, as well as other federal and state agency lists
  • Must be able to use office automation including computer and phone systems that require find manipulation, grasping, typing, and reaching
  • Must be able to sit, talk, and listen; use hands and fingers and handle or feel
  • Must be able to occasionally stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop; kneel and/or squat when adjusting equipment or retrieving supplies
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
  • Must have close vision
  • Must have peripheral vision
  • Must have distance vision
  • Must have the ability to adjust focus
  • Must be available for occasional out of area travel and overnight stays

Desired Qualifications

  • Any Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSD, MCSE, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365
