Job Summary
Set up workstations with computers and peripherals, check hardware for functionality, and install software according to specifications. Maintain and develop local networks to optimize performance while ensuring security and privacy of systems. Troubleshoot and resolve problems by diagnosing issues, repairing, or replacing parts, and maintain logs of all repairs and maintenance schedules. Guide and train users on efficient system operation and organize scheduled upgrades without disrupting daily work. Identify equipment shortages and place orders to keep operations running smoothly.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
- Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Good knowledge computer systems and networks
- Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
- Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field
- Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Certification as IT Technician
- Experience in Opera/Micros PMS/POS Systems
