Job Summary
Handle IT problem reports via the helpdesk, interfacing with end users to identify causes and implement fixes within SLA. Assist with asset management, build PCs from the standard company image, deploy to desks, perform root-cause analysis, and escalate or communicate issues to the IT Manager as needed. Opportunities to expand IT knowledge through workshops and training are available; security and contractual compliance require UK-national status. This role involves dealing with end-user IT tickets, setting up new equipment, and contributing to day-to-day IT operations in a Curtiss-Wright environment.
Required Qualifications
- Security contractual compliance will require incumbents to be a sole British National
- Ability to pick up new technologies/software quickly
- Understanding of networking
- Good problem solver
- Methodical with an eye for detail
- Ability to identify IT hardware components and fault find
- Willingness to build PCs from standard company image and deploy to desks
- Experience dealing with end-user IT tickets and ownership of issues
