Job Summary
IT Technician role based in Brenham, TX, fully on-site. Responsible for supporting IT infrastructure and end users across Branch locations, installing, configuring, and maintaining workstations, printers, peripherals, and standard software; handling help desk requests, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and escalating complex incidents. Duties include setting up workstations, training users on systems, managing user accounts and access, monitoring network connectivity, documenting procedures, onboarding/offboarding, participating in basic IT projects, upgrades, and preventative maintenance, and traveling within a 60-mile radius to assist users. Requires 5+ years of experience, an associate degree or technical IT certification (or equivalent practical experience), and current permanent work authorization (no visa sponsorship). Familiarity with ticketing systems, asset management, and cybersecurity practices is expected.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience as an IT Technician or relevant position
- Associate degree or technical certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
