Job Summary
Diagnose and resolve technical issues for computer hardware, software, and network systems, providing assistance remotely, in person, or over the phone. Install, configure, and maintain IT systems while monitoring applications to identify performance issues, security risks, and keeping systems updated with patches. Document and track support requests and resolutions, escalating complex problems to higher-level teams as needed. Deliver clear technical guidance to users with varying IT knowledge and coordinate with other IT teams to implement system-wide solutions. Provide training and security best practices to end users.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant prior experience
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team-based environment
- Must be able to coordinate with other IT teams to resolve system-wide issues
- Must be able to provide training and guidance to end users on best practices for IT security and system usage
- Must be able to provide clear and effective technical guidance to users with varying levels of IT knowledge
- Must be able to communicate IT solutions in a user-friendly manner to non-technical customers
- Must maintain a customer-focused and results-oriented attitude
- Must be able to ensure prompt resolution of issues
- Must be able to diagnose technical issues
- Must be able to assist users remotely or in person
- Must be able to ensure the proper installation and functionality of IT systems
- Must be able to document and track support requests, resolutions, and system changes
- Must be able to escalate complex technical issues to higher-level IT support teams when necessary
- Must be able to install, configure and maintain IT hardware and software
- Must be able to monitor systems and applications to identify performance issues or potential security risk
- Must be able to keep systems updated with the latest patches, updates and security measures
