IT Systems Team Lead

Job Summary
Lead the Infrastructure and Application Support teams by administering Windows and Linux servers, managing virtual cloud platforms like VMWare and Azure, and overseeing software licensing, hardware maintenance, and disaster recovery plans. Translate business needs into technical solutions for modernization initiatives while guiding IT projects through Agile frameworks and ensuring alignment with organizational strategy. Provide mentorship to peers, manage contractor responsibilities, and administer access control, Active Directory, and database systems. Work a rotational on-call schedule including evenings and weekends, with some travel required. Base salary ranges from $110,000 to $135,000, plus a 28-32% annual bonus.
Required Qualifications
- US citizens or Green Card holders
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and application support/management
- Technical knowledge of hardware, software and network infrastructure
- Prior experience with project management (including managing multiple projects simultaneously)
- Professional demeanor with a high degree of flexibility, responsiveness, and self-direction
- Proven ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times
- Supervisor/manager recommendation
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the job (with or without a reasonable accommodation)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience working in a large, complex organization with multiple divisions
- Ability to analyze, identify and solve complex problems
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Responsibility, reliability, and commitment to fulfilling work obligations
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal oversight
- Advanced experience of data center design including environmental control requirements
- Advanced experience with network architecture design
- Advanced experience with IIS Administration and/or SharePoint Administration
- Advanced experience with Cohesity/Veeam systems
- Advanced experience with configuring and managing server environments
- Scripting experience (including PowerShell, Python, and others)

- VMware VCP Certification
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
