Job Summary
On-site IT Support Specialist at the Milwaukee facility providing hands-on help-desk and end-user support, hardware setup, onboarding, and shop-floor technology assistance, collaborating with the Johnson Creek IT team for cross-site support, with a focus on Windows/Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic network/infra exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on IT support experience in a help desk, desktop support, IT technician, or generalist IT role
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-service mindset
- Comfortable providing direct support to non-technical employees in both office and production-floor environments
- Working knowledge of Windows desktop support, Microsoft 365, printers, peripherals, and common business applications
- Basic familiarity with Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and password resets
- Ability to image, deploy, support, and maintain desktops, laptops, and related hardware
- Willingness to work on-site primarily at the Milwaukee facility, with occasional support needs in Johnson Creek
- Ability to work independently, prioritize support requests, and escalate issues appropriately
- Comfortable working near or on a manufacturing floor
- Ability to assist with basic cabling, workstation moves, hardware setup, and endpoint connections
